A GLANCE BEHIND THE SCENES
An illustration starts with a great idea or funny theme.
It comes to life through sketches or drawings. Each or our card motifs is a result of an intensive though process and the competence of our skillful illustrators.
At our design workshop first drafts turn into unique and modern designs with the help of latest generation work stations – and supervised by our art director.
Screen print – also called serigraphy is a manual type of printing technique with a special printing culture, which we very much cultivate at our BETHGE studio.
Colors are mixed individually and screens coated. Each sheet is placed onto a printing table individually and color applied by hand. Each color needs to be dried for up to 48 hours before an additional color can be applied. The quality of this extensive process can hardly be topped and will always be impressive.
